Does a skidless yoga towel make a big difference in Bikram?

I’ve been practicing Bikram Yoga for about 10 months now and have always used a regular bath towel. I’m curious about the Skidless Yoga Towels - do they make a big difference? I don’t really want to fork out the $50 for one only to find its no different than the bath towel I’ve been using.

Try some baby or talcum powder it less slippy.

I have used both and could not find much difference. Other way is to experiment with the range of bath towels. How thin /coarse/smooth the bath towel is can also have the same effect and you spend much less.
